WetnWild BeautyBenefits Mint Infusions Lip Tint

Posted in Product Reviews on June 16th, 2009 by Kristen Jason – Comments Off on WetnWild BeautyBenefits Mint Infusions Lip Tint

When you pack for your summer vacation, you should bring sunblock for your skin AND your lips. WetnWild BeautyBenefits Mint Infusions Lip Tint has an SPF of 15, and antioxidants to protect your lips. A welcome bonus was its peppermint oil ingredient, which freshens breath and gives a cooling sensation. The colors may seem dark in the packaging, but this gloss is really a tinted balm with extreme shine. If you like more color, try a dab on top of your lipstick.

WetnWild BeautyBenefits Fresh Effects Mineral Veil

Posted in Product Reviews on May 12th, 2009 by Kristen Jason – Comments Off on WetnWild BeautyBenefits Fresh Effects Mineral Veil

Mineral makeup has a ton of benefits, but it definitely has room for improvement in the available selection of shades. If you can’t find the perfect for shade for your skin but want the benefits of mineral powder, you may want to try the WetnWild BeautyBenefits Fresh Effects Mineral Veil in the translucent shade.

This loose powder is for all skin types. It hides shine in your oily areas but also minimizes the appearance of lines and pores. The powder has a fine shimmer that translates to a radiant glow when applied to the skin. It’s also fragrance free and non irritating. We  give WetnWild a thumbs up for the elegant packaging, it’s always fun to have sophisticated looking makeup.

WetnWild BeautyBenefits Dual Effects Lip Pencil

Posted in Product Reviews on May 8th, 2009 by Kristen Jason – Comments Off on WetnWild BeautyBenefits Dual Effects Lip Pencil

The WetnWild BeautyBenefits Dual Effects Lip Pencil glides on smoothly and blends well, but they also added something extra. On the other side of the pencil there is a balm that plumps and conditions the lips with botanical extracts. All of the lip pencil colors are natural looking, matte shades (we liked the Raisin shade the most). The order of operation is balm, liner, then lipstick or gloss. We don’t suggest trying to use the liner all over, it’s a bit too dry to try to use it as a lipstick as well. The balm has a nice lightweight texture that went perfectly under our lip color.

WetnWild BeautyBenefits Beauty Brilliance Eye Shimmer Stick

Posted in Product Reviews on April 22nd, 2009 by Kristen Jason – Comments Off on WetnWild BeautyBenefits Beauty Brilliance Eye Shimmer Stick

Many matte lovers balk at highlighters, finding shimmer to be cheap and obvious. However, when applied correctly, a quality highlighter can make your face look naturally luminous.

The WetnWild BeautyBenefits Brilliance Eye Shimmer Stick is like a super product. You can use it as an all over eyecolor, eyeshadow base, or as a highlighter for your brow bone.

We tried the shade Pink Peony (there are 6 shades available). Its’ subtle iridescent color made our eyes appear brighter and prettier. No unnecessary glitter in this creamy product at all. We were already happy enough with how the shimmer stick made our eyes look, but became serious advocates when we discovered that this shimmer stick has ingredients that prevents age and boosts hydration. It’s also crease and water-resistant so you don’t have to worry about how long your look will last.

Our favorite way to use this shimmer stick was to put it on our eyelid as a base color, then dust a dark shadow in the crease. The shimmer stick made the shadow look richer, and last longer too.

WetnWild BeautyBenefits Deluxe Concealer Brush

Posted in Product Reviews on April 14th, 2009 by Kristen Jason – Comments Off on WetnWild BeautyBenefits Deluxe Concealer Brush

WetnWild BeautyBenefits has come out with a line of affordable, high quality make up brushes. We tried their deluxe concealer brush and loved the whisper soft bristles. It’s dual-ended, one side is for the concealer, the other for the setting powder (this brush is designed for their Color CorRx Concealer Kit). We found the side for the setting powder is also the perfect eyeshadow brush. The brush is also anti-microbial, which is a must for the eye area. Remember that even if a makeup brush is bacteria resistant, it’s still important to clean it on a regular basis. Even better: the brush is made of synthetic hair so no animals were harmed.

WetnWild BeautyBenefits Sheer Satin Lip Sheen

Posted in Product Reviews on March 19th, 2009 by Kristen Jason – Comments Off on WetnWild BeautyBenefits Sheer Satin Lip Sheen

Hate the feel of lipstick but don’t like gloss? The WetnWild beautybenefits line has Sheer Satin Lip Sheen. This product is about treatment. It contains antioxidants, vitamins, and a SPF of 15. So it’s moisturizing and protects your lips from sun damage and aging.

Sheer Satin Lip Sheen is very lightweight and goes on sheer. We were surprised when we used the sheerly natural shade. It looks like it will will go on as a very hot pink, but it’s actually very subtle. Some of you natural girls might even prefer this over your chapstick, it actually feels lighter! And as always, WetnWild does not test its products on animals.
